Built on the grounds of a former equestrian paddock, Southfield Farm is a development of 20 traditional Cotswold stone, cottage style homes. The design compliments the picturesque surroundings and is nestled in the undulating hills of North Oxfordshire. Currently on site and due for completion at the beginning of 2022, the project consists of 7 affordable homes and 13 bespoke, high end private properties.

Ibis have been employed by the client, Hayden Homes to provide the services of Construction Manager. This role includes acting as principal contractor and design team leader which involves full day to day management of the site, subcontractors, and consultants as well as total cost control and reporting.

The project’s tight budget, high specification and the bespoke nature of the finishes requires close management and strong communication between all stakeholders.

The site commenced in March 2020 during the global Covid-19 pandemic and the initial UK lockdown measures. We worked tirelessly to ensure that all safety measures were put into place quickly to allow work to start as planned. Our efforts allowed progress on site to thrive when other sites were forced to close and/or reduce their workforce.
